Instantly deleted my post?

Just wondering why my post on the thread about the woman who found her ex in bed was instantly deleted? I've never had that before. I didn't say anything offensive or unpleasant and was not trollhunting either. I've also noticed the site glitching recently so maybe it's that? My posts that normally come up in pink, sometimes go green and make it look like I'm the OP of a thread.

Did you put any kind of link in it? Also, there could have been a trigger word that could have hidden the post instantly. (It's happened to me a couple of times.)

Don't wanna say which words, in case my post here gets hidden/deleted! 😆

But there are a few words that will trigger the post to be hidden.

Ahh actually I think it's the link thing. I didn't intentionally add a link but you know when you type, put a full stop, accidentally miss a space and start writing the next sentence? I did that, then went to edit and it was gone. That's all I can think of anyway. Thanks for your reply.

That's OK ... 😘At least you know you weren't reported by someone! (Also, if you had been reported, your post wouldn't have disappeared instantly, it would have taken 5-10 minutes or so. Or longer!) Smile

Hi @ShellieAnn. Hopefully sounds like you're all sorted now but if you want us to take a look just hit the report button and let us know exactly where the post was. We'll be able to either reinstate it or tell you why it was deleted.

OP- Go back to the post and see whether your message is there now. I had similar recently. Wrote a very boring comment about someone's home design and giving kitchen ideas. When I pressed post, it instantly came up that MNHQ were looking into it my post and it was hidden! I too hadn't written any slander/rude words etc and I don't even think I had a link or any photos.

Anyways, a few minutes later, my full post was there to view. I assume some algorithm, deems 'kitchen peninsular' to be very offensive now, but really have no idea when triggered it.
