Inappropriate ads

For the past day I’ve been getting pretty inappropriate adverts coming up mainly along the top of the page. These are predominantly outlining that another attack like Oct 7th is imminent and shows pictures of Hamas terrorists or dead civilians. I don’t want to click on it to see what it takes me to but wondering if this is something MN have control over?

Hi there @Igotjelly. Thanks so much for letting us know about this. We'd definitely like to locate these as quickly as possible. Could you tell us where you saw them or perhaps take a screenshot for us next time they turn up. As you say, perhaps best not to click on them but any further info you can give us will help us track them down quicker.

I saw these yesterday evening too. Will send a screenshot if I see them again!

I can’t screenshot unfortunately as the button on my phone has died! I’m just using the browser though if that helps.

This ads are based on your cookies surely? Which are based on your own browsing history?

Clear your cache and see if they come back.
