Lookup-I need this back on my App?!

Please please bring back the 'lookup' option when you hover over a word you don't understand. I used it all the time and am fed up of having to leave the App to Google words or acronyms I don't understand.

Yes! Was thinking the same.

I asked about this very soon as the new app was released. The answer was that they probably can’t do it because of the ‘framework’ the app is built on. I think this is also why the other common context menu tools particularly Copy are no longer available - the posts are rendered as ‘dead’, non-interactive texts. It seems like a pretty fundamental design limitation unfortunately.

As ErrolTheDragon has said, this is a framework issue and isn't something we can easily change unfortunately, but we've taken on board your feedback.

@JoMumsnet thanks for taking it on board - it stops me from staying within the site as I sometimes lose interest if I don't understand things, so just log out. I use the App more than the actual website.
