My Activity - is it new?

I've no doubt I'll get used to it but I must have clicked on it more times than I clicked on Notifications today. I'm getting RSI constantly correcting my mistake.

What's the point of it? Does it have to be at the top of the list?

We’ve updated the name of ‘My lists’ to ‘My activity’, and reordered some of the menu items.

You’ll now find your Saved and Watched threads under My activity.

Can I make a suggestion that the menu be reordered so Notifications is at the top with My Activity just below?

"My activity' is a better name but I agree with @eatfigs about the order of the list. Maybe you could make it customisable?

I like the "my activity" item. It is good to easily check it.

Totally agree, notifications is the one I use most so I'd prefer it to be at the top

I think notifications was always at the top and now it’s changed to second.

For whose benefit? Users or MNHQ? That's a genuine question, asked in a curious voice, I'm not being nippy 🙂. I was happy with the way I engaged before, which I suppose is why I'm wondering.

I would also prefer if Notifications was still at the top of the list.

The whole purpose of the icon is to alert us to notifications- why would anything else supersede it in the menu order?

Agree. It’s very annoying as I so instinctively go to my notifications tab and go straight to the top option, which has now changed.
Makes no sense that the first option of notifications isn’t actually your notifications.

Yes I have clicked on the wrong thing a lot by mistake from habit but you soon get used to it being second in the list and then you'll go there each time

I came here to see if it was just me but it's not and it's really irritating.

Not sure I need to know my activity that badly.

Oh yes please put notifications back where it was.

Like others, I keep pressing 'My activity' by mistake.

How it used to work: user clicks top menu item and navigates to their notifications.

How it works now: User instinctively clicks the top menu item, as the red notification bell would imply they ought to.

Incorrect page loads, along with the ads on that page.

User clicks back out of frustration.

More ads load.

User clicks correct menu item and gets their notifications. Ads for that page load too.

I think we know who this is benefiting 🙃
