Not being able to answer thread

Why does this happen on the app? I’ll scroll down and start typing, but sometimes there’s no “submit” option. If I try and go back a page, it comes up with “continue editing/discard post” but won’t allow me to actually do anything?

I get this sometimes but it won’t even let me type anything in the comment box. Really frustrating! I have to close the app then restart it but then I lose whichever thread I am on.

Hi there @bigknitblanket. A few questions for you that hopefully will help us fix this:

1. Are you on the iOS or Android app?
2. What version of the app are you using (you can find this by opening the app, selecting the profile menu in the top right hand corner of the screen and then checking the version number at the bottom of the menu)?
3. What device are you using the app on? (We are aware of a few problems with users on iPads so it would be good to know if it's that.
4. Has this always been an issue or is it something that's started happening recently? If it's recently, could you give us a rough idea when it started to happen?
5. Is it happening every time you try and reply or only sometimes?
6. Would you be able to take a screen recording of the issue and share it with us via email at [email protected] so we can see exactly what's going on. If you could record what you do just before the issue and the issue itself, that would be amazing.
