Threads still jumping to random places

There was a thread about this recently and I thought it was going to be fixed.
If I open a thread that I’ve bookmarked it opens in a completely random place. If I post on a thread it jumps right to the bottom of the site, past the ‘download the app’ and contact details and stuff.

I’m on an iPhone with iOS 18.4 and the using DuckDuckGo browser.

Hi @MagpiePi

We're looking into this now and will be back with an update as soon as we can.

Hi again @MagpiePi .

We're still working on this. Could you possibly try clearing your cache and letting us know if that makes any difference?

In the meantime, if anyone else is having the same issue, if you could do the same and also let us know your device and browser as MagpiePi has done above, that would be really helpful.

Thank you!

Great news, @MagpiePi

Actually, if I am reading a thread and the notification for a new post appears, if I click on that, it jumps back up to the top of the thread.

Edited to add: And if I add a reply to a thread, it jumps back up to the top when I click on the ‘post’ button

That last post was on my phone, so am trying when i use the site on my laptop.

…so, on the laptop, it just updates the thread and stays at the bottom.

I am using DuckDuckGo on a macbook with macOS Monterey 12.7.6 which is the most up to date OS
