Can we make threads longer than 1k posts please?

If we aren’t allowed to make a thread about a thread could you make the post limit more than 1k?

Thanks for the suggestion. We'll have a chat about the post limit - but we have the limit in place to ensure threads run smoothly.

As a sidenote, we allow continuation threads (and the OP is welcome to start one). Threads about threads are a bit different. It depends on context, and in this case, we think it's up to the original poster.
