Dodgy “sensitive content” adverts

I keep getting “sensitive content” adverts come up on MN. I clicked on it out of curiosity and it automatically take starts a payment process. It appears to be some sort of scam. I think they should be removed asap. (I know the adverts work on individuals search algorithms but I can assure you I do not ever search for explicit content 🤣)

Hi @LavenderFields7 thanks for flagging this. Are these ads cropping up just on a specific thread, or on various threads across the site?

We can see that you're on the mobile site, can you please let us know which device and browser you're using?

It seems to have stopped now. I’m on iPhone and Safari.

I just got one of these on the AIBU Athleisure wear thread. Mobile site, safari.

Clicked on it, and it went straight to a payment screen which, worse, already had my e mail address on it.

Morning, everyone. We've blocked this ad now so you shouldn't be seeing it again.

If anyone has any further problems with it could you send us as many of the following as possible? Screenshots, the click through link, time seen, page it was seen on, what sort of device and browser you are using and the advertiser name if you can see it.

All of the above are helpful but the screenshots and click-through links are the most useful and help us track these things down quickly. Many thanks.
