Does this mean they thanked me or are there other reactions available?

It means someone either liked it, clapped it, loved it or made them laugh.

There's not a nasty response unless laughing at what you posted would be nasty.

If you follow the link on the email you can see who has reacted, and how.

I have all notifications turned off, but if you scroll to a comment you've made on a thread you can click the reacts to see who clicked which ones.

Excellent. Thank you all. I did ask at app testing time if it’s possible to show how many times a post has been thanked but I see now that would be difficult as it would have to show all the reactions

On the normal website you can see all the reactions, I don't really understand what the app is for.

Why are the reactions backwards... on MN thumbs up = agree while clap = thank you (like). It's the other way around in my mind, applause should be "I agree" and thumbs up is "Wow Ta". I never know what to click...
