How do you post a screen shot, please?

Took my screen shot, posted it into my post, which showed up as being posted, until I clicked ‘post’ and then it wasn’t there.

Do I have to save a screen shot in some way before I can post it? (Or are screen shots not allowed?)

TIA

Hi BIWI, firstly please can we check which device you're using to view Mumsnet, and if you're on the mobile /desktop site or the app?

Thanks @JoMumsnet

I’m using a MacBookAir and the desktop site.

Thanks BIWI, we just needed to check whether any image you'd posted had got caught up in our system as we do manually check over every image posted these days. There's usually only a slightly delay while we do this. However, there's nothing in the queue from you.

We suggest that you save the screenshot to your laptop, as it has to be in one of your folders or gallery so you can select it from there when uploading. If the file is too large you should get a message saying as much when you attempt to post it.

Let us know how you get on.

Thanks @JoMumsnet - but can I ask, what should I save it as?
