Non Premium Request

I get that you have to make some features exclusively available to those who can afford premium.

But, can we PLEASE get the 'see all' function to work for our own posts as well as the OP in the non-premium version? I miss using the 'see all' function more than anything else that's been sidelined for Premium, and I am not asking for it back in its full functionality, but if I have contributed a lot to a thread, I sometimes want to remind myself of my posts and see if anyone has directly replied or responded with an emoji (not everyone quotes your username).

I mostly use MN on my laptop so I have to scroll though a page and then click through to the next and then scroll through that one etc... It's really laborious.

I just advanced search my own name, between the dates I want. It’s probably a bit tedious, especially if you want to see your posts on a particular thread

cakeandteaandcake · 10/04/2025 19:09

Why can’t you just search for your own username on each page of the thread

B1indEye · 10/04/2025 19:14

You could save your own posts and go straight back to them

Try using "find in page" instead.

SlightlyJaded · 10/04/2025 23:26

I do 'find in page' but on my laptop, this means clicking through multiple pages - sometimes 10 and having to do a new ctrl F on each page. Yes it's doable, but like I said, tedious.

Before Premium, you could 'see all' anyones post by username which was sometimes helpful to follow 'sub-plots' or understand a POV better. Now you can only do that with OP posts. I'm just saying that if you aren't paying for premium, I'd at least like to be able to get my posts consecutively on one page so I can remind myself of exactly how i've contributed up to a certain point.

Do 'see all OP posts'
Change the username at the end of the URL to your name (or whichever poster you want to see)
Refresh browser window

SlightlyJaded · 11/04/2025 08:53

@SwanOfThoseThings oh I got excited by this suggestion but not working for me.

That doesn't work for me either, when was see all by poster a non premium option?

Hi @SlightlyJaded

Thanks for starting this thread. We think this is a good suggestion and we're taking a look into how feasible it might be to implement this.

In the meantime, you could change your settings so that you can see all posts on one page - that would save you scrolling through multiple pages and repeating the search for your own posts. Just click here: [[https://www.mumsnet.com/settings/talk - scroll down to Thread Posts and select 'All'

@JoMumsnet Thanks so much. Will follow the step by step for all on one page, but would be amazing if you could look into a 'see all' for your own posts :)

Yes, I'd like this as well. If you consider a thread with 100s of posts over a few weeks eg TV series like Bake Off and you only posted once or twice you have no hope of scrolling through and finding your posts and whether you are about to repeat yourself!
