Will someone please tell me about bookmarks

On a browser I just click on the thread title and it takes you to your first unread post.

On the app I can add a bookmark but... Then what? How do I get back to it?

If you click 'bookmark' (on the bottom right hand side of a post,) when you click back on the thread, you should be taken straight back to that post you bookmarked.

On the app? Or just on a browser?

Hello @drspouse when you bookmark a post on the app and click back onto the thread, is it not taking you to that post?

It is now - I'm not sure what I was doing wrong before.
If you bookmark a post but then bookmark again on the same thread does it delete the first one?

The bookmarks in the app are very hit and miss. Sometimes you open the thread and it takes you to the bookmarked post. Most of the time it takes you to a random post somewhere else in the thread (possibly an earlier bookmarked pist?).

I’m adding to this thread to bump it up a bit before I start a new one.

My bookmarks were reliably taking me to the post I previously bookmarked - but in the last few days, that’s gone haywire, and the thread opens up at a completely random point, ignoring my bookmark.

I’m on an iPhone, IOS 18.4. It also happens on my iPad.
