I'm trying to stop this annoying flood of emails. Is that it?

Just update your settings if you don’t want emails.

MsAmerica · 19/03/2025 01:06

Okay, but that doesn't answer either question

Morning @MsAmerica. 'Active' is just the most active threads at any given time. You can find them here: https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/active

With regards to the emails, it depends on which emails you're receiving. If it's newsletters that you don't want, @AlexandrinaH is correct - you can toggle them on and off in Settings under 'newsletters' here https://www.mumsnet.com/settings/newsletters.

If it's notifications you want to stop receiving, those are also under settings here: https://www.mumsnet.com/settings/notifications. You just need to choose 'email notifications' there. 'Web notifications' are the ones that appear in the top right corner when you're logged in to Mumsnet.

Hope that helps.

Active / Trending / For You - all seem to be the same list of threads. Why is this?

I clicked on the notifications link and got a message saying "We seem to have lost that page."
I don't mind messages if someone is specifics emailing me, especially the mods, but I don't want an email every time someone "likes" something I posted.
