Name change query

I recently changed my name to MayPolerBear, and then wanted to move my profile to that name.
I went to the Profile Mover page and there were 2 'MayPolerBears' in the list. I tried both of them, but neither seemed to work. I then tried to change back to Stealth - there were two of those in the list as weLL! And i still can't seem to get my profile linked to the right one
Is it creating a new nickname every time you change instead of reverting back?

Yes, I think it does take a couple of minutes to refresh and so reattach.

I suspect the doubling up of names is a glitch.

oops I just need to learn to be patient!
I would be interested to know why, from a system point of view, can't imagine the setup.
Anyway, off to name change again

I have no idea. Hopefully Tech will pop his head in here at some point and explain.
