Intrusive Adds making the site unusable (again)

ASongbirdAndAnOldHat · 06/03/2025 07:21

Since yesterday every new thread I click on is ruined by intrusive adverts.

I've tried to take some screenshots but they keep freezing my phone (Google Chrome)

Can you let me know if this intrusive method of advertising is intentional, as it has made MN unreadable.

To explain, the advert forces in from the top, bottom and side, before a larger advert comes up from the bottom.

It happen five times in two minutes. It has been happening since yesterday.

I just want to know if there is an issue of if this is deliberate. Thanks

Same. My text is being pushed in from the sides when they load. I managed to screenshot this today.

Hello @ASongbirdAndAnOldHat @TheChippendenSpook thank you for the screenshots. We're looking into this now. Could you please let us know what device you are using, too?

I'm having this problem too - particularly with the Represent Woman ad which takes up my whole screen and freezes the thread. Samsung, default browser.
