Is there a way to hide a topic on the app?

I'm so fed up of seeing the weight loss promo threads, is there a way of hiding this particular topic on the app? If I try and do it online it's a pay wall and I'd prefer not to give my data away.

Yes you can hide it same as any topic, in your preferences

Not from my app I can't, I want to hide the entire topic from my active feed. Takes you to the website.

No I don't think you can do it from the app.
