Horrible advert

Recently I've had an advert for a TV show - The Strain. Now, I've seen the show and read the books, and really enjoyed them. But I don't want to see a full page advert showing someone's eye being gouged out when I'm browsing AIBU. It's happened a couple of times now on different threads.

Block adverts then! I don’t get ANY adverts on any of my devices.

Can't remember which threads, but somewhere in either AIBU or chat. Happened 2 or 3 times but not since I posted this. It's advertising Prime video -Home of Horror with German text at the bottom.

Hi again @Cushionseams. We've had our ads team have a look at this and they've confirmed it's a genuine Amazon ad - so at least not anything to worry about in terms of being a legitimate ad supplied. We take your point about it being a bit upsetting, though. We've searched for it again and it doesn't seem to be appearing currently, so hopefully you won't see it again but if it's popping up repeatedly, please do let us know when and where.
