Maybe it's just super quick at scanning now.

The photos you have uploaded are recognised as safe and haven't been flagged for review - which is why they upload instantly! Are we missing something? If so, could we ask you email us off the boards on [email protected]?

Don’t understand this post? There’s an option to add image, and if the image is not an unsafe image it won’t be stopped by the AI filter?

People still appear to be able to upload photos of their breasts so not sure the AI filter is working all that well.

@LilyMumsnet so are you now allowing intimate images? Only because I reported one yesterday and it’s still up.

I thought photos of body parts asking medical questions had been banned too but assumed that was lifted when I saw one the other day. I think it might have been over the weekend

Just reported another one. Can someone tell us if the ban is still in place? Because either MNHQ have just decided to u turn on it and ignore any reports of photos, or their software is broken.

We know it can sometimes feel inconsistent when some images are allowed while others aren’t, so we wanted to clarify how we now approach image moderation. Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis, taking into account context, content, and the overall impact on other MNers.

As a general rule, we don’t allow graphic images of intimate body parts, but if an image isn't graphic (for example, not showing absolutely everything you've got) and adds value to the discussion, we may allow it.

We do our best to be consistent, but moderation isn’t always an exact science. If you have concerns about a specific decision, just report the post or drop us a line, and we’ll take another look.
