Re favourite topics

Why do I keep getting topics coming up on my feed that I'm not interested in. Surely the point of favouriting certain topics means you get those topics on your feed?

I have no interest in weight loss injections, holidays , feminism, diy or style and beauty yet there's loads on my feed. If I hide individual posts more just appear.

Is there a way to stop seeing certain thread topics?

I don't know how favourite topics work but I'd assume that all the topics you've hidden wouldn't appear in the same thay on active threads you only see the topics you choose

If you go to your Mumsnet settings, select talk settings and scroll all the way down, you'll see Manage hidden threads and topics.

From here, you can manage all of the topics you see when browsing the site. Hiding a topic will remove it from your active feed (although these threads may still appear in the trending box).
