Quick question about links

Yesterday I was searching for recipe inspiration on MN and I noticed that a lot of the older posts, say from 2007 or something, seem to be linking to recipes but when you click on them, they don't take you anywhere? Sorry, that's not a very technical explanation but if anyone can explain, I'd be very grateful!

Could it be that the page being linked to no longer exists, if these are 18+ year old threads?

Hi there @Goodwitch9 . Could you show us an example of this? Would be useful to see if they're external links or ones to MN pages that no longer exist, for example.
