Automatic m &s links

In another thread every time some posted m & s (without the spaces), it was turned into a link. Well I assume it was automatic and not every person linking to m&s, which would be a bit odd.

Why was it doing this and does it happen with any other companies?

There were long threads about this last year. You could look them up?

OK, I’m going to assume you don’t mean to be as snarky as you have come across.

I have never seen this before today and asked a question, wouldn’t even know what terms to use that would be useful in a search for this!

Is it just the style and beauty board that it happens? As typing M&S has no effect.

Surely as this has been paid for and is therefore advertising, shouldn’t we know about it?
