my McAfee Web advisor is being triggered by your site

i have the extension plugged into my browser (Edge) and every time i come onto Mumsnet at the moment its advising me that its blocking content it thinks is dangerous.

I haven't opted to view what its blocking, but felt you ought to know.

I am getting this too and also have not viewed the blocked content.

I am on my laptop using Google.

Thanks so much for flagging this. We're looking into it, but do you have anymore information of what McAffee is flagging?

Mumsnet is safe, and it's likely an advert triggering the report - it would be really useful to locate it so we can look into fixing this. Do you happen to remember where you were on site (thread links), and what adverts were visible to you?

Mumsnet is the only website that seems to trigger McAfee Web Advisor. I didn't even know I had it. Tried unsuccessfully to remove it numerous times. (Chrome on laptop).

In fact, it looks as though it has gone from my apps / programmes list and yet it's still appearing on MN.

cdn.btmessage.com is what its trying to block, and its every page on mumsnet i open

I'm having trouble with this and I don't have Mcafee. What is going on? It's making Mumsnet absolutely unusable for me. It's been terrible the last few days. @BeckyAMumsnet

The site has been nearly impossible over the last 2 or 3 days.

I've had what I think is a genuine mcafee complaint about this site: www.63btvlfe.mom/ (NOBODY CLICK THAT!)

I've also seen a fake mcafee page on one occasion, which appeared whilst I was reading a thread

Mostly what I get is the screen just going white abruptly in the middle of me scrolling a thread.

If it helps, I'm using Chrome 132.0.6834.83 .
