Wrong thread going bold when I view a thread

When I click on a thread and read it then go back usually it will bold to show it's 'read' - for some reason it is now holding the thread above the one I read.

BOLD, not good - have asked MN to edit title to avoid confusion!

Any help with this?

Hi there @polpolpolpol. Thanks for getting in touch again. Can we ask if you are definitely using the most up to date version of the app here? A few other people are having the same issue so we're just collating some information on what's happening here to help us fix it.

Thanks I just checked the App Store and it's not showing any available updates, so I think it must be the most recent.

The same thing has been happening to me for well over a year now. It's not all the time but it happens a lot. I'm on the most recent version of the app. Phone is iPhone 15 if that matters.

This has also been occurring to me for at least 12 months - using the app (up to date), iPad, with latest iOS.
