PM just shows my messages

I cannot contact another poster by PM. It just defaults to me. Why?

Hi there @TizerorFizz. Can we ask you to talk us through exactly what's happening or perhaps send us a screenshot?

If you go into your Private Messages page and hit the new conversation button, your username should appear in the top box and then beneath there should be a box where you can type the username of the person you want to send a message to. Is it that bottom box that is defaulting to your username? And what happens if you start typing?

I pushed the pm button and just got me. It’s now sorted by another route.
