Emojis ruining my MN experience

Does anyone else find that the emoji button sits exactly where your thumb is when scrolling, therefore the emojis to choose from swallow the space? Does it need to be there or like this, or could it either be moved across or be less sensitive? Thanks.

I hold my phone in my left hand so scroll and type with my right, so not an issue for me.

I hate the react feature and have the same problem with my thumb hitting it constantly. There must be a better place to put it. I use an iPad - it may depend on the type of device being used.

I always hit quote so it skips to the bottom. Really annoying but you just have to learn to be lighter when scrolling. It's actually better to run your thumb up the edge of your phone case so it only just brushes the edge of the screen.

I don't like the fact that now instead of having acknowledgment on the thread it's all hidden behind the scenes and reading along it looks as though comments are being ignored because nobody else can see that they were responded to with one of these daft emojis.
