Qatar Ad (can’t add post on another thread as Ad blocks me)

Takes an age to read any thread and most are shut down by the Qatar ad that freezes/blocks any further content. It’s horrific. Couldn’t even add my complaint to another Qatar topic as the fucking ad comes up and blocks me from doing so ……….

Hi @HoppingPavlova We think we have managed to block most of these now. Could you try clearing your cookies now? That should sort it but if you are still seeing these ads after clearing cookies please let us know. Thank you.

3 days of Qatar ads. Couldn’t post on the other 2 threads as the Qatar ad blocked them. Why is it still up? I suspect because the click through rate looks great because everytime I try to close it, I click through to the stupid ad.

Same. Very annoying! Putting me off Mumsnet.

Also - I have cleared cookies and history and cache and it doesn’t help. I stand by my theory that they are happy for the clicks.

Yep, driving me up the wall too. Really could do with some escapism when the dc are off school

Hi @Festivesorrow , @BBBusterkeys and @Warringahvoter - we're so sorry these ads are still cropping up - we thought we'd managed to block them all. Are you able to get a screenshot the next time one of the ads appears? That would help speed things up.
