As others have said, we seem to jump in with no choice/action then can’t get out without leaving the thread. Immensely irritating.

I’m glad I’m not the only one! The movement of the ad makes me feel sick, and it is so frustrating that we have to jump out of the thread. It is really starting to impact the enjoyment of the site.

This ad is stopping me from using Mumsnet.

MN is very happy to sell its user base of (primarily) women to people/organisations/countries who hate women.

I was the same, but I turned my VPN on and it blocks the ads for me so I don’t have an issue now.

I don’t have a vpn, am not a very tech person and am not looking into how to get one to get around crappy ads on Mumsnet!

Shouldn’t be hard for Mumsnet to specify that they won’t carry advertising for countries that have guardianship laws.
If they cared enough to bother that is.

thats understandable. I’m not sure what other work arounds there is. Problem is trying to scroll I kept accidentally clicking on the ad and I think that makes them think I’m interested and show it more.

seems to be iPhone users

Morning, everyone. We think we have managed to block most of these now. Could you try clearing your cookies? That should sort it but if anyone is still seeing these ads after clearing cookies please let us know. Thank you.
