Make poll results visible without having to vote

Sometimes I don't know enough about a subject to vote on it, but I want to know what the overall opinion is.

It would be handy to have a 'reveal results' button so I don't have to make a random vote to see the answers.

I think it's good for people to vote without being influenced by others. Although I guess you could change your vote if you changed your mind.

The example from today is someone asking about dating someone with BPD. I've never experienced that so I have no right to weigh in on whether such relationships can work or not. However I am very curious about the poll results. Not all polls are a matter of opinion, some are a matter of experience and we won't all have the same amount of experience to draw on.

Hiding the results stops us learning from others who have that valuable real life experience IMO.

Just vote any old way to see the results. Nobody seems to realise you can change your vote anyway by just clicking the other option!

Hi OP

We find that keeping the vote results hidden, likely provides a more honest result without users being influenced by previous voters. We don't have any plans to change this, but we appreciate the feedback and will bear it in mind.
