Font size

Hi MN. Today, the font size on my android phone (website user) has gone tiny.

The font is how amended texts used to present, but haven't had that problem for ages now.

Now it's all texts on all topics. If I try to zoom in to read a post, it just flips to another random topic.

It's driving me mad!

We're looking into this, but can we just ask you to give Mumsnet a quick cache clear, to make sure it's nothing to do with browser memory?

Hi. No. That made no difference.

This has also happened here! Just came to see if anyone else had noticed. Latest version of Android on an S10, latest version of Chrome.

Oh and I've cleared my cache, made no difference.

Morning, everyone. Thanks for the info so far on this. If you've not told us this already could we ask what browser and devices you are on if you're experiencing this issue.

Also, can you tell us whether you usually use zoom settings or large text size in your phone settings?

I'm Pixel 7a, I use a larger font size in Android settings, but it's being ignored.

I've had to dig out my varifocals to read your website!

And it is only your website that has changed.

Hi again, everyone. We've been unable to replicate this so far. If anyone has a moment, could they try using the site on a different browser to their normal one and let us know if that makes a difference. It sounds like lots of you are on Chrome, so maybe if you are, try Safari or Firefox and let us know if you have the same font problems there? Thank you!

@HebeMumsnet Happening to me on a desktop, only started this morning. Cleared cache but made no difference. I've tried Edge instead of Chrome and fine there.

ETA all other sites fine

Morning. Theres been no change to the miniature font size, except for the Mumsnet promotion which is in normal size.

I don't know if that information will help. Whatever is different on the promotion works for me!

Has there been a resolution to this it's making the site unusable.

I don't know if anyone is still watching this thread, but I've found a helpful solution.

If you click the 3dots at the top right of your screen, go to zoom and you can increase the percentage.

That works because it increases font size and still keeps the text centered.
