I could NOT get onto mumdnet last night

I could not get into mumsnet last night between about 11.15 and after midnight

was I the only one?

what happened?

please tell me I wasn't going MAD?

i could get on to the home page but not any of the message boards, i thought it was just my computer playing up but maybe not

me too, i was in the middle of chatting and everything just crashed

I was getting so annoyed with it

I couldn't make it load anything

It was sooooooooooo frustrating

I couldn't get on either. Can't remember exact time, but earlier than 11.15 for me - more like 10:30 - didn't get back on before going to bed either.

cant remember exactly - after 1030pm anyway. dh (techi man) examined it and said it was the computer at source that was the prob. he could have been waffling tho

it stops at 9.45 until 3.15am

Ah well

At least I got an early night

Yeah I couldn't get on from quite early - and was still unable to at 2.30am when I went to bed

Wasn't though.

I thought perhaps Tech was back from his holiday and was frantically deleting stuff. But no, its still there.

Oh good, wasn't just me then!
Suspected dh of having sabotaged my laptop in order to force me to interact a bit more for a while.
it really p**d me off. Went to bed in a huff.

Me neither, very disturbing, thought I had a virus or something

I am so reliieved that it wasn't just my laptop.

DH used it then brought it back upstairs to me

and no mumsnet

BUT he is not computer literate so was sure he wouldn't know how to stop me satisfying my addictions

But what had happened??????

Obviously I realise now that it was a central prob.

I did for a minute think that mumsnet had been closed down

But this morning everyone was here

Me neither. I assumed it was tech deleting the evidence, "These blasted women...every time I go on holiday..."

Me either, and it was late afternoon/early evening for me. I did wonder if they had shut down for some sort of legal reason....

Glad to see it back this morning. I was in danger of being productive.

Me neither - and, sad, sad woman that I am I just sat here - looking at other stuff on the PC and obsessively checking back every few minutes to see if MN was back. So I didn't even get an early night!

same here too. i was up at 2am cos first was feeding baba and 2nd i already had 4 hrs kip (as over xmas didnt have a good nite sleep) and i couldnt get onto mumsnet i thought "OH NO"

• not heard what happened and haven't seen another thread
