Christmas page always goes back to top

It's pretty frustrating that whenever I click on a thread on the Christmas page, it always goes back to the beginning when I press back so I have to scroll all the way down every time.

It only happens on that page. Is it just me?

I'm on chrome via my samsung phone.

Yes all threads and has been happening since I first started checking the page for this year, approx 4 weeks

There are a few pages that it happens to for me. I think money matters is one.

Morning everyone. Thanks for all the info shared so far. We have a few more questions that might help us work out a fix:

1. Could anyone share a link to one / all of the threads where it is happening?
2. Could anyone share a screen recording? This would be the best way for us to understand what's happening here.
3. Can we check, do you mean that you have a bookmark on the thread, so you are expecting to be returned to the post that you bookmarked? If you clicked 'back' (if you didn't have a bookmark) then you would expect to be taken to the top of the previous page so that might be the simple answer but we just wanted to make sure.

What I mean is if I go to the aibu page and am browsing down the threads, if I click on one, have a read etc, when I press back I am at the same spot so can continue going down the threads.
When I do this on the Christmas page, after I click into a thread, when I press back I am back to the first thread at the top of the page.

I'm not too tech savvy but will see if I can screen record

@Iwontlethtesungodownonme the reason the Money Matters page looks different is because you're viewing it in OP view. If you click on the down arrow beside the two horizontal lines in the top right of the page, you'll be able to switch to Compact view.
