Massive ads appearing from nowhere when reading a thread.

This is happening on every thread I open. A huge pop-up ad that I can’t get rid of!

This isn’t the normal huge ads that are the subject of the other thread - they are different

The ads on my phone never load, probably as they’re so big, so they crash my phone constantly. Very close to leaving mumsnet as my phone becomes unresponsive. Only happens when I go on mumsnet!

Can you confirm your device and browser for us, and if the ad reappears, could you possibly grab the URL by clicking on it? This will help us locate it quickly. In the meantime, we'll try and replicate.

Just had this on a thread, was for Amazon, no option to close or move it?

I’m getting the same thing. No way of closing it or scrolling past it. Always an advert for Google AI stuff on Samsung products available at Amazon.

Thanks everyone. Can we confirm, are these all ads that look like they're from Amazon? If so, this might be an issue we are already into. If you're seeing other 'big ads' though, please let us know where you saw it and send a link to the url of the ad itself if you are able to.

Yes it’s Amazon adverts covering the whole page from an iPhone using safari - they don’t go away either

I have been plagued by ads not loading on safari - huge ads part way through a thread - I’m constantly having to switch phone off n back on again then it’ll happen again and again
It’s very stressful and is making the site completely unusable
I’m on a new iPhone 16 pro if that helps at all

For those of you with the Visit Qatar ad problems, we think we have managed to block most of these now. Could you try clearing your cookies? That should sort it but if anyone is still seeing these ads after clearing cookies please let us know. Thank you.
