I'm ND, I love MN it's pretty much the only SM I use, been here years and years, a massive aspect is because of its minimal interface.
However lately there's a constant flashing/moving banner (google ads) on the app at the top.
Because of my ND and my generally high stressed state I just can't bear the movement.
You can 'report' the add or hit the x in the corner, but it is quickly replaced by a similar moving ad.
I use a scrunchie to wrap around but that limits my ability to read posts and navigate the site.
Absolutely no issue with ads, it's the movement.
Is there anything I can do (within the app) in terms of settings or my phone (iPhone) to permanently stop moving ads?
MN is the only app I use for 'relaxing' so it's not such an issue in other sites because I generally use a laptop and can prop a pad of paper up to physically block flashing ads, not really possible on my phone.
