It says use the plus symbol at the bottom right of the page to comment on a post. What plus symbol at the bottom right of the page?
What does ‘quote’ mean. Quote who/your favourite sayings?
And all these initials - OP? Out patient, old person, other prat? And the rest DH, DS, etc. shouldn’t there be a key to what everyone is going on about?

OP posts:

Quote people to reply to them while including their text. It's not generally used on the initial comment, as that's really annoying.

You are the OP -original poster. DH/DS is darling husband/son etc. I think there's a list somewhere.

Open the attachment to see where the + is, I've circled it

So how do you comment on here?

If you're on the app using an android phone, click on the plus symbol at the bottom right of the screen when you're in a thread.

You will get three choices. Choose "Reply".

You will get a dialog box. Type your reply. Hit the send/ post button.

Again, on an Android phone using the app, click on the three dots beside a post and you'll get three options - bookmark, report, and quote.

Click "quote" and a dialog box will open showing the post you want to quote. You type your reply in the box and hit the send button (the paper plane symbol at the top right).

If you're not on an android phone using the app, your pages will look different. MN format isn't the same across all versions.

Hi there @FozzieP. Looks like some helpful posters have answered most of your questions but if you want to let us know if you're on the app or the main site and which sort of device you're using we might be able to tell you a bit more.

Heya, hope you discovered what everything is. The 'DH', 'DD' stuff kinda gets on my nerves because it's not like there's a character limit, just write 'husband' or 'daughter'/'son' etc. No need to describe them as 'darling', that is already assumed. Right? I am probably in the minority in this... Anyway good luck figuring it all out! lol

Sometimes the acronyms can be a bit confusing. DC can be child/children or cousin. DP is either a partner or parents. DS can be son or sister. DF is father or friend, or indeed fiance. You can usually figure it out from the context eventually.
