I clicked on one and it was to some bs story about everyone getting a tax rebate

They are titled something like 'what they don't want to tell you'

Is anyone else getting them?

Sorry, the title is 'finally he/she compares the rumours'

With pics of Richard Branson, Russell Brand, Rachel Reeves

I just posted the same thing!

levantine · 26/11/2024 09:01

They're vile aren't they

Why did you click on it? It was clearly clicked bait.

I keep reporting them.

SharpOpalNewt · 26/11/2024 09:03

This site is getting worse for ads. Becoming unreadable like one of those "Reach" newpaper sites. My phone blocks all the pop ups and the site is always crashing.

levantine · 26/11/2024 09:06

How do you report an ad?

OP posts:
YesYesAllGood · 26/11/2024 09:36

Yes, I'm getting these too.

TheShellBeach · 26/11/2024 09:38

Same! They're horrible.

Stretchedresources · 26/11/2024 09:41

When you click the tiddly cross in the corner of the add it gives you some options (inappropriate, not interested etc).

SusanSHelit · 26/11/2024 09:41

Literally the first ad when I opened this thread! It's pretty grim

I'm using chrome on a Samsung flip 5 if that helps your IT guys

TooBigForMyBoots · 26/11/2024 09:49

I'm seeing them too. Even on this thread. They're gross.

ArchMemory · 26/11/2024 09:51

Yep opened this thread and there was Richard Branson with bad photoshop facial injuries. Horrible. I couldn’t see an option to report but I did manage to close it.

Yup, for me to - four in this short thread!

Winter2020 · 26/11/2024 10:21

I'm getting them too. Should we report this thread to mumsnet so that mumsnet HQ look at it or to they look at all site stuff?

DiamondGoldandSilver · 26/11/2024 10:45

I just started a thread about this and was directed here. They are horrible!! Mumsnet please make them stop! It’s so offensive to see them, especially Rachel Reeves, with facial injuries. Isn’t this inciting hatred?

CCmumsnet · 26/11/2024 11:42

Hi all, Sorry that these ads keep appearing- we are looking into it. If possible could an MNer please share the Click through URL that it gives? Then it will give us more to check. On the App you can hold with two fingers and copy ad details without going through. On desktop you can right click (copy link address). Mobile you will need to click through to get them.
Hopefully we can get this sorted for you all asap.
Best wishes
