I wonder if there would be any appetite to split the telly addicts board a bit?

I know it used to be sort of split (I think it was normal and streaming) which doesn't work any more.

But I do wonder if a board for reality TV might be good. I often pop over to see what people are watching but I'm not into much reality TV, and if I was I do know it exists, and the reality TV threads seem to be for people discussing ongoing series. I'm usually looking for a new thing to watch, or to discuss a recently released series. But these threads get drowned out by reality TV and the soap opera threads (many seem to have more than one as well, some with and some without spoilers, plus just innocent duplicate threads).

Any thoughts?

We create, merge and split boards based on user feedback. You've done the right thing by starting a thread in site stuff, so we'll keep an eye on the interest level. If it's something that lots of Mumsnet users would like, we'll discuss it in the office.
