Are you going to respond about the site being broken?

You've broken the site with this new update and don't seem to be responding to posts asking about it. Are you going to give us a timeframe for sorting it, at the least rolling back the changes until you've fixed the issues?

Can you elaborate? The site is working fine on my phone and I can’t see any threads about the site being ‘broken’ apart from this very vague one!

Just write what you mean! Or link to threads!

We rolled out a new way of scrolling through long pages this morning to address the long standing issue of very long threads crashing. Only those who have a setting of 1000 posts per page will have been affected - which is a minority of Mumsnet users.
There are a few unforseen issues so we've rolled it back for now while we address those. Thanks

If It's working for you why are you so bothered about how it's broken for lots of users?
There are other threads on site stuff, 'double posts' and 'hate the new feature' being two. People are posting all the bugs on those threads but MNHQ are ignoring them. So I started a new thread to ask for a response. Don't worry if you don't know what the issues are, mumset do!

Justine, mumsnet is unusable on my iPad. It has been for ages and has been reported to you. I also agreed to join the teams meeting you offered and I have hears nothing since.

Cross post and thank god for that. Please could you offer we minority the option of choosing to have this new feature or switch it off once you've fixed it?

When you do these type of opt out things it can tend to overcomplicate the site and make new features really hard, so happy to look into it but I can't promise we can do that, but I can promise that we'll work very hard to make this work properly and seamlessly for all.

This is the problem I have.Cannot use MN on my Ipad and it has messed up browsing generally on Safari! Has been a problem for a couple of weeks now!I have commented on the other relevant posts!

Is the problem you're trying to fix 'slow loading threads when people choose to show all posts in one page'? Because if so, you have a fix for this, people can choose to show fewer posts per page. Those of us who like all posts to a page like it like that, even if it loads slowly. We don't want it to change, that's literally the point. Who has actually asked for this?

It's not working for me. I wanted to know which issues you were talking about to know whether to contribute with my own issues or start after thread.

I don't think my issues are what you are talking about so I'll bow out, but it's taken several posts to clarify that.
