Where's puzzles gone?

Hey, where have the puzzles gone? It's been replaced by Black Friday. Is it coming back?

Is there no way of putting black Friday somewhere else, we miss the puzzles.

On mobile, I press three lines on top left.
Scroll down.
Tap 'more'
Under 'most popular'
Tap 'Puzzles'

It’s all gone wrong since the IT folk have changed the settings promoting bloody Black Friday. Just says “oops, something’s gone wrong”. Now can’t get my daily fix of codeword!

Puzzles have been broken for a couple of days, unclear if MN even know?

However, this led me to find out where the content is sourced from - https://business.puzzler.com/examples/

You will get an ad about how you can drive traffic to your website if you use their puzzles, but they're all there and more besides.

This is a great find, thanks heaps. FYI I emailed the powers that be early this morning, but was only on the generic “contact us” email

For anyone on LinkedIn, they've got some good daily puzzles as well (that work!)

I use the app so I didn't even know MN had its own puzzles.

Which version of the site are you using, @Lazysundayafternoon2024 ?

If you're on the desktop site, underneath the main banner there's a blue bar with various drop-down menus - Talk, Pregnancy & Baby etc. If you click on the one that says More you'll be able to access Puzzles.

On the mobile site, click on the three vertical lines at the top left of the home screen, then click on More, then scroll down to Puzzles.

(Or use the bookmark that NunyaBeeswax has helpfully added)

We'll find out if Puzzles will be returning to the navigation bar and let you know as soon as possible...

But you're aware the puzzles are broken @JoMumsnet ?

@tribpot it's strange, because they're definitely still there for some of us!

Could those of you who are seeing broken links please let us know which device and browser and version of the site you're using, so we can see where the problem lies?

ios. Code word has not worked for a few days.

I use laptop and Firefox, I can do Suduko and crossword but the others have been broken for 3-4 days

I'm using Android 11 and Chrome...just get a message saying oops, something went wrong...

Edge on Mac, Windows and Android all gives the same error. Sudoku is working but Codeword, Guessword and Numberfit don't.

Just tried Safari on Mac - same result.

The Word puzzle GAE has an error message
On both iPad and latest iphone

Mumsnet HQ replied to my harrumphing email with: “Thank you for getting in touch, we have now flagged this with our tech team who will resolve the issue as soon as possible.”

Thanks for all the info - we'll hopefully get the puzzles back on track for you very soon.

Iphone 14, and browser is Safari.
Crossword is working, but Codeword and Guessword were saying "something wrong" on their respective pages.
I'll try again now that Mumsnet are aware, in case it's been fixed since then.
