Threads from blocked boards showing in trending

I have a few boards I have blocked but threads in those subjects have been showing in trending since yesterday.

is there a way to change this please? They’re not showing in active so my settings look right

We're sorry but hidden threads and topics will appear in trending - this should be the only place they appear, but please let us know if this isn't the case.

I've come on here to say the same. I only have Christmas, elderly parents, gardening, food abd ag couple of other boards unhidden and til yesterday I only saw threads that were trending on those boards. Now I'm getting aibu, chat etc.
why has it changed abd how do I get it back to how it was ? I don't want to see the other trending stuff as I get dragged into watching horrible AIBU bunfights and I just want to keep in my cosy bubbles where posters are nice to each other

Same - they never usually do and it started yesterday. AIBU is one I’ve hidden so I definitely would have noticed before now

I noticed last night and have gone over various ways to change it. @LilyMumsnet im sorry to argue but clearly something has been changed at HQ

it was normal on my lunch break yesterday and changed by the time I sat down to watch a spot of tv in the evening

I agree, something's definitely changed. I've got AIBU hidden and haven't been seeing threads from there in trending until today.

I was wrong, I was thinking of active, not trending.

I hid AIBU and it stopped appearing in Trending for ages. AIBU threads are now back in Trending, to my annoyance. Please can hiding a board mean hiding it from Trending again?
