Reporting posts - suggestions

So unless I’m missing something, the only way to report a post is to open it, scroll past the entire post and then hit Report. (I browse MN on my iPhone.)

It would be really good if you could do the following.

Report posts from Active without opening them. Sometimes the title is very obviously spam! At the moment the options from Active are watch and hide. Hide makes sense but does anyone watch a post without opening it? Would you consider having report and watch instead?

Report posts without having to scroll to the bottom of the post. There are so many different options on the page, but it would be good if Report was easier to find. It can be a bit wearing scrolling past loads of spammy nonsense about bitcoin or steroids just to be able to report. I know you can search for the word Report in the webpage but I find this very fiddly on an iPhone.

Just some things to consider.

Ack, it seems easy enough to me, and it is quite entertaining to speed-scroll through the ridiculous nonsense on these spam posts.

I think of you didn't have to scroll 'all the way through' a post , that only takes about 2 seconds people would report as a knee jerk reaction.

We all know that people already don't read all the ops post before asking questions that are obviously stated in the 1st post . I think reporting would compound that.

Hi OP

Thanks for the suggestions - we're always open to feedback and we'll discuss these in the office.
