How to stop website directing me to app?

I use the app all the time, but occasionally I will jump to the website (if I need to edit a comment) or if my email puts a link to a 'thanks' or similar. Now when I click the link it goes to the website then immediately transfers to the app. Using iPhone iOS 17 something

Thanks, I don't know how to do that. If I click a link it takes me to a webpage then the app. I want to be able to click because it used to take me to the webpage and show the comment in question, on the app it just goes to the thread and of course you can't even see thanks anyway

Yes I had the same issue. You need to press and hold on the weblink you want to open and the. Select 'open link in new tab' then it should display in the browser instead of the app.

I used to have this all the time and I ended up deleting the app. It was useless anyway.
