Can't reply in thread

I am trying to reply to a thread I started but am unable to - it keeps giving me the message that I must use the same name I started the thread with (the name is greyed out so I can't change it) but it is the same name I started the thread with anyway. Any advice on how I can rectify this so I can reply please? Thanks very much.

And what happens if you try to post anyway when you get this message? We've had a few people report the same issue but despite the message, they are still able to post. Would be good to know what's happening with you.
