Can you advise me- i name changed and wrote a post whilst upset. Instantly regretted it and realised that extended family could tell. Mumsnet have ignored my request for hours. I'm so upset. Can anyone help me?

How did you contact them?
You can report your post - that might be the quickest way.

tryingsomethingnew · 30/08/2024 06:19

That's what I did. I've sent about 6 reports. Having a real panic and feel so awful that it could be seen.

How long does it take normally?

They don't do much overnight, when there are only volunteers manning the fort.

NightWatch here - can I help? I can hide the post if you link it for me Smile

Hi @tryingsomethingnew - you've probably seen by now that we took your thread down first thing this morning. Sorry if you had a stressful time worrying about it.

As NiteWotcha has said, if you're ever worried about a thread or post and you're not receiving a reply to your report, just post a link in The Night Watch channel and one of our lovely Night Watchers should be able to help.
