Thread under review?

I started a thread on Saturday in Style and Beauty asking for advice on what to wear to a colleague's wedding as she comes from a different culture from my own. Two days later and the thread is still showing as "under review". Please can someone explain a) the need to "review" a thread about wedding outfits and b) why it's taking so long! Thanks
