Annoying to have quote notification vanish

In my notifications, it said I was quoted twice in a thread. Naturally, I was not only curious, but tend to feel that person probably deserves the courtesy of a reply. But after replying to one, the second one vanished as well. And I'm not going to plow through 50 replies looking for it.
Don't you think maybe when someone quotes a poster, it should stay in notifications until it gets clicked on?

This is a good point and we're happy to discuss feedback and look into this. Can you confirm device and browser, and does this happen often? Do you have email notifications or are you using the Mumsnet notifications only?
