In AIBU there are a number of phishing threads about Expedia customer services, can you take a look please?

Lots about Citibank too - mainly in 90 Days Only?

And another in Spanish...I've reported the ones I've seen as spam.

I've reported about 6 different ones now.

Loads in UK travel

I've just reported about half a dozen of these - they're popping up every couple of minutes in every topic!

Every night, every day - they are everywhere.

The level of spam recently is making me a bit worried about the back end security tbh of Mn.

I've reported these too. They are very tiresome. Each from a different username but presumably it's possible to locate the source?

It's been whack-a-mole the last half hour or so!

I'll never sign up to Premium because of this; and I'm on a throwaway email address.

I've deleted 8 of these stupid threads in the past 20 mins.

And in the last 2 minutes I've just deleted another 4, from 'Active' alone.

They're still popping up.

It's calmed down a bit now - perhaps it's feeding time at the zoo.

Have schools broken up? Or is it a consequence of the software failures last week?

The travel agent spammer is back again - now wanting us to know how to contact Amtrak and United Airlines.

I don't think it's to do with schools or Crowdstrike @MollyButton , this travel agency spamming has been going on for a long time. The only real way MN can deal with spamming is improving the registration process. I'd like to see some phrases (like bitcoin recovery) trigger an automatic hide as well.

I think this is is for them to get into Google search results.

There are often screamingly obvious AI posts that appear as replies in threads too.
