Imo, there’s no need for these threads at all, particularly in aibu, and they are “not in the spirit” of MN

TBF MNHQ have banned some of the most sneery ones I've seen (and reported).

I agree that these should be dealt with on a case-by-case basis, as there's a fine line between 'OMG look at this amazing/fantastic/unusual decor' and 'OMG this is hideous what were they thinking?'
