Query about notifications

So if I get thanks on 10 threads, that's a little 10 in the notifications bar at the top. Makes sense.

But if ten people have updated their threads ,then that only counts as 1 notification.

I don't get it, I presume it's intentional, as it's been the case for at least a year, but surely people care more about an OP being updated than how many thanks they get?

Thanks for the feedback. We use one notification each time an OP updates their thread because providing a notification every time would result in an overwhelming amount of them showing up. We'll discuss your feedback regarding what should be a priority, though and appreciate you sharing your thoughts.
