This is ridiculous.

Encouraging pregnant women to buy wholly unnecessary “supplements” when they can get all the electrolytes they need from normal food and drink feeds into understandable anxieties, and results in women giving their hard earned cash to these charlatans. It’s not a good look, Mumsnet.

If anyone is genuinely dehydrated (e.g. after vomiting or being excessively hot) they would be better off seeking actual qualified medical advice.

Electrolytes are key to maintaining health overall, and they're especially important during pregnancy. But are they safe? And which supplements should you take?

That's awful.

Seriously MN, did you learn nothing from the "omega supplements to get your kid higher GCSE results" thing?

Taking money from products like this only harms your reputation.

I agree - I'm not sure quite how this has got through but will check our processes and fix them. Thanks so much for raising it.
