Change of username not taking effect?

Has anyone else had this problem.

I changed my username a few days ago but some of my posts - but not all - after that date are still appearing under my old username.

I tried a second change of name but again, today, a post still appeared under the original name whereas others appeared under my new name.

I've reported the post to MNHQ but am I the only one?

This one is under my current name BTW!

Is it because you had already posted on those threads? If so, it will default to the name you'd already used.

I think MN introduced a new feature so if you're already on a thread it reverts to that name by default if you post again under a name change.

We think you're sorted now @BrigadierEtienneGerard but just for the benefit of anyone else reading with the same query, previous posters are correct. If you've already posted on a thread it will automatically default to that name when you post on it again.
